Villa Tugendhat Unwrapped:

Villa Tugendhat, a masterpiece of modern architecture, stands as a symbol of innovation and elegance in Brno, Czech Republic. Designed by the renowned architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and completed in 1930, it embodies the principles of functionalism and minimalism. Villa Tugendhat remains a pioneering example of modernist design. Its significance extends beyond architectural excellence, serving as a cultural landmark and a testament to the enduring influence of modernism on contemporary architecture.

Studying Villa Tugendhat, William Pan found the circulation path intriguing for its clear zoning of family-gathering spaces and personal areas. In his exploration, Pan unraveled the building's design by envisioning a walkthrough of the entire villa. Implementing various drawing techniques, he portrayed the villa with diverse textures, hues, and perspectives, capturing its essence in a multifaceted visual narrative. The drawing, nearly tall as 80% of William Pan's height, seamlessly blends artistic flair with architectural significance, representing the essence of Villa Tugendhat.
