The Vessel Ensemble
In maritime terminology, a "vessel" specifically refers to "a large watercraft or ship used for transportation on water, such as a boat, ship, or any waterborne craft." "Ensemble" is defined as "a group of musicians, actors, or dancers who perform together." According to William Pan's definition, a "vessel" could be an architectural structure that host people---"ensemble" would be a group of architectural structures that harmonically blend in with each others. Thus, the concept of the "Vessel Ensemble" emerges as a potential architectural mesh designed to serve as a welcoming "hostess" for the people. Envisioned as a versatile and publicly accessible edifice, the "Vessel Ensemble" lends itself to diverse functions, from accommodating music festivals and celebratory gatherings to housing Christmas markets...sky is your only limitation for the application of this architectural piece.
