Though I've only visited Italy once in my lifetime, its vivid imagery and vibrant atmosphere have left an indelible mark on my memory. In stark contrast to the rainy climate of Flanders, Italy greeted me with endless stretches of sunny blue skies and the cheerful hues of colorful houses, exuding an infectious sense of joy. Though I lamented the absence of my camera roll from almost a decade ago, I found solace in the power of imagination, conjuring up visions of Napoli's lively streets adorned with warm, pastel-colored facades and Venice's enchanting canals reflecting the golden glow of sunlight. Inspired by this perfect dream, I made a bold departure from my usual monochromatic palette as a designer, wielding my paintbrushes to capture the essence of Italy in a style that embraced color and warmth—a homage to the beauty that resides in the realm of imagination.
