Growing up, my godmother Eva regaled me with tales of Germany's stunning architecture, painting vivid pictures of magnificent castles and awe-inspiring gothic cathedrals. Entranced by her descriptions, I longed to experience the beauty of Germany firsthand. Finally, at the age of 15, I embarked on a transformative round-trip journey across Germany, my camera in hand, capturing every mesmerizing detail to preserve the memories forever. Years later, as I sat on my porch, the familiar strains of my mandolin filling the air, reminiscences of that unforgettable trip flooded my mind. Suddenly struck by inspiration, I entertained a whimsical notion—what if I could intertwine the soulful melodies of my beloved mandolin with the architectural splendor of Germany that had left such an indelible mark on my heart?
