ABOUT WILLIAM PAN

Grew up in Beijing, China, and moved to Boston Area at the age of 14, William Pan has been deeply influenced by aesthetics from diverse cultures. Deeply embedded in the rich heritage of Chinese classical antiques from his father's studio in Beijing while influenced by his godmother's German heritage, William Pan developed a passion for both Asian and European cultures, leading him learning German & Dutch language. With a profound understanding of European (especially German and Flemish) culture and history, his multilingual and multicultural background has significantly shaped his design philosophy---to seamlessly integrate Eastern serenity with Western elegance.

William Pan is currently an interior student at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) located in Savannah, Georgia, United States. As a multi-disciplinary designer, William Pan is also the president of the Associated Production---SCAD's first production design club. He not only appreciates art and design from various cultures, but also values the power of design in multiple fields.
